Terms and Conditions of Business:


By commissioning The Dead Sleuth Limited (“company”, “me” or “I”) to undertake research on your behalf – you (“the client”) accept the Terms and Conditions of Business as follows.

Working Together:

When you commission The Dead Sleuth Limited to undertake research on your behalf – the following information will be collected:

  1. Your name
  2. Your e-mail address
  3. Your telephone number,
  4. Your company – if applicable
  5. Your delivery and billing address
  6. Your comments – if applicable

Without this information, I will not be able to fulfil your commission to undertake research on your behalf.

Confirmation that I have received your commission to undertake research on your behalf and/or payment of the deposit will be sent to you be email.

A contact telephone number is required so that I may reach you if there is a problem with your commission to undertake research on your behalf.

I reserve the right to reject a commission from you to undertake research on your behalf at any time.

I will not be able to accept your commission to undertake research on your behalf due to the following reason(s):

  • Non payment of the deposit
  • Your payment has been declined

The Deposit Payable:

A deposit of 50% of the estimated balance due is payable by you before any research is undertaken on your behalf.

If no information can be found to fulfil the terms of your commission once research has been undertaken by me on your behalf – the deposit will not be refunded.

Should you no longer wish to continue with your commission with me once research has been already undertaken on your behalf – the deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellation Policy:

YOUR RIGHTS:

You have the right to cancel your commission to undertake research on your behalf within FOURTEEN (14) days of the completion and signing of any agreement between me.

Your cancellation will be accepted only upon the safe receipt by me of the completed Notice of Cancellation Form completed and signed by you.

OUR RIGHTS:

If payment is not made to me in accordance with the terms of agreement completed and signed by you to commission me to undertake research on your behalf – I reserve the right to cancel this agreement with immediate effect.

I will no longer undertake research on your behalf if:

Any remaining balance due for the undertaking of research on your behalf becomes payable.

Failure to pay may result in dispute resolution and/or court proceedings against you to recover any remaining balance due to me for the undertaking of research on your behalf.

Any legal action may result in further costs due from you.

The Payment Terms are THIRTY (30) Days.

CHARGES PAYABLE:

Any and all research undertaken by me on your behalf is subject to a charge of £40 per hour.

The charge of £40 per hour applies to the undertaking of any and all research undertaken on your behalf including any and all written report(s) and updates, and of my communication with you.

Additional charges will only become payable on account of authorisation from you.

With the conclusion of any and all research undertaken by me on your behalf – the remaining balance becomes payable.

The Payment Terms are THIRTY (30) Days.

The research report(s) with any and all enclosures will be delivered to you upon the payment completion of the final balance.

If you have requested a physical copy of the research report(s) and/or paper material(s) – I may, unless you advise us otherwise, pass this information to a courier(s) or other agents in case they need to contact you to arrange the delivery of your order.

Upon the successful receipt of any and all of research report(s) with any and all enclosures by you – the contract between The Dead Sleuth Limited (“company”, “me,” “I”) and yourself (“the client”) is now complete.

methods of payment:

Payment can be made in the following ways:

  • By bank transfer to a United Kingdom registered business account trading as The Dead Sleuth Limited upon receipt of an invoice raised.
  • By Stripe to a United Kingdom registered business account trading as The Dead Sleuth Limited upon receipt of an invoice raised.
  • By PayPal to a United Kingdom registered account trading as The Dead Sleuth upon receipt of an invoice raised.

Our delivery policy:

As a small business I aim to be transparent about costs and no profit is derived from the delivery of any research report(s) and/or other paper material to you, the client.

I will notify you by email of the cost of postage and packing prior to the dispatch of your research report(s) and /or other paper material.

I work hard to find the best delivery service for the safe dispatch of any research report(s) and/or other paper material and charges are based on the weight and size of the items ordered.

I deliver within UK mainland and overseas.
